DESCRIPTION: This wood is easy to work with and has nice face grain patterns sometimes similar to oak but is much lighter and easier to work. The color is light brown. Brazilian Oak appears lustrous, with a reddish brown heartwood and more yellow-brown sapwood; shows a moderate color change over time and exposure, darkening to a richer brown with red highlights.
