DESCRIPTION: Remarkably pretty wood with lots of variation & character. Texture is fine & uniform; grain often interlocked. The wood works with some difficulty due to its hardness & density; sharp tools must be used. Easy to finish & takes an excellent polish. Dark reddish brown to golden brown or tan with lots of variation & alternating color.
