Uses interior glue & the plies are of lesser quality. Generally regarded of being high quality than standard birch plywood. Has layers of veneer that are void-free, which makes it perfect for scroll saw cuts; after the pieces are cut, they are easy to finish the edges to get a beautifully finished project. The multi-ply construction made for an attractive edge to route & sand. Comes in 5' x 5' sheets. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Russia & Finland BOTANICAL NAME: Betual spp. WORKING PROPERTIES: Highly decorative, exceptional strength & screw holding power. Very high quality addition to the imported plywood market. Uses more plies in it's construction & has excellent machining properties. The dense construction & quality have made this a favorite product of cabinet manufacturers. Sands, paints & stains very well. The thinner stock is the #1 choice among woodcrafters.
