DESCRIPTION: Pinkish or reddish brown, with fine, dark veins of color. It has a uniform medium texture, with straight to interlocking grain & medium luster. Responds well to polishing, glues well & accepts finishes well. Its strength is similar to teak.
BOTANICAL NAME: Calophyllum brasiliense.
USES: Used in boat building, beautiful furniture, cabinetry, decorative & figured veneer, excellent flooring, joinery, parquet & millwork.
